Hello, my name is Joana Rodrigues and I’m 26 years old. I finished my master’s degree in Bioengineering in FEUP in 2019* and I’ve been working as an iOS Developer since then while also tutoring in the meantime, specifically working with math and other subjects, such as programming, physics, and electronics.

*All tutors who are not from Católica receive a course from experienced tutors to ensure the quality of our service

I want to give classes because:

Coming from such a multidisciplinary background as Bioengineering, I feel the need of exploring other things apart from my work. Tutoring and helping other students to reach their goals is something that helps me to feel fulfilled.

Methodology:

I adapt my methodology to each student but I try to always have a very relaxed and cool environment, where the students are open to expose their questions and feel almost as if they were studying with friends. I am a very practical person and I try in my tutoring to always focus more on the practical part and not only be theoretical as I believe it is what brings better results.

Previous experience as a tutor:

• I have already 4 years of experience tutoring, especially in the area of engineering, mostly in mathematics but also in other engineering areas. In these years, I’ve had more than 100 students, some of them with the goal of passing but many others with the goal of having really good grades, and overall, always depending on the work of each student, the results have been very positive, always depending on each student’s work.

• Groups of 3: 20€
• Groups of 4: 17.5€
• Groups of 5 or more: 15€
